Enjoy a tremendous view and learn about conservation holdings and a variety of flora and fauna as you hike to one of the most spectacular settings in the Okanagan. Learn about the cultural significance of this site to the Okanagan (Syilx) people and some of the important berries and plants that are food and medicine. Leading the tour to The Nature Trust of BC’s McIntyre Bluff property will be Carl MacNaughton, South Okanagan Conservation Land Manager, and Richard Armstrong, Traditional Ecological Knowledge Specialist. This is a strenuous hike for physically fit people and bird and plant checklists will be available for sale at the beginning of the tour. End the day tasting a selection of wonderful wine courtesy of Dunham & Froese Estate Winery.
Age Permitted: 12+ ***must be 19 yrs older for wine tasting
