Hester Creek Estate Winery is pleased to welcome Kelowna Chef Mark Filatow as our 2011 Celebrity Guest Chef. With over twenty years of experience, Chef Filatow represents the pinnacle of culinary excellence and is the driving force behind Waterfront Restaurant & Wine Bar. After graduating with honours from the Dubrulle Culinary Institute, Mark honed his culinary skills at some of the most prestigious restaurants in BC including Tofino’s Wickaninnish Inn, Vancouver’s Bishops and Diva at the Met and Kelowna’s Fresco Restaurant. Chef Filatow was recently awarded the Southbrook Canadian Wine Award. This award is given to the chef whose menu best exemplifies creative, conscientious wine pairing with a special emphasis on “eat Canadian, drink Canadian.” Hester Creek invites you to join them Monday, October 3rd, 2011, as Chef Filatow prepares a multi-course dinner paired with their award winning wines. Live music performed by the William Leggot Jazz Trio. This evening continues to be one of the highlights of the Fall Wine Festival so please book early to avoid disappointment.
