My sister-in-law and brother-in-law invited me to join them for the winery's spring pruning session, which is part of the adopt a row program. I found it very informative to here how the vineyards weathered the winter and the forecast for the upcoming growing season. It was great fun to then go out and participate in pruning the vines on the property adjacent to the main building. Even more fun to come back into the barrel storage area and have a hot lunch and sample some of the wines from bottle and barrel. The whole event was so impressive and NEAT that I signed up to adopt a row for my family, and even more fortunate I got added to the program. I am looking forward to returning again and again, hopefully to learn more, thanks very much for a great day.
