Tantalus Vineyards is situated on 50 acres on the eastern slopes of the Okanagan Valley, overlooking the shores of Lake Okanagan and the city of Kelowna. Tantalus is dedicated to growing and vinifying limited quantities of exceptional Riesling, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Tantalus Vineyards was established in 2004. Originally known as Pioneer Vineyards, the site was first planted to grapes in 1927 and is one of the oldest continuously producing vineyards in the province. Tantalus' winemaking philosophy is centered around the concept of terroir, or sense of place. All its wines are made from fruit sustainably grown at its estate vineyard. A non-interventionist approach to the winemaking process allows each wine to convey the fine quality and unique character of this historic vineyard. Enjoy premium, single vineyard wines in a stunning gallery-style tasting room, surrounded by works of art from some of Canada's most highly acclaimed artists.

This is a small winery with three wines produced, but TERRIFIC wines they are. All people on our tour agreed this was the best wine we had tasted in the two days we were tasting! Pinot Noir and Riesling are the BEST!
