I visited House of Rose this summer and found it to be a wonderful place - the wine shop woman was vvery informative, I loved their Summer White wine. My Mom and I had a glass of wine in the picnic area which is surrounded by flowers - it felt relaxed and a wonderful place to visit. We'll definitley go back!

This out of the way winery is located in the apple orchards and has a good view. The operation is small so you get to meet the people that make it happen. Overall the owner was friendly and provided personable answers to questions. We skipped the tasting, but in hindsight we shouldn't have. The wines we purchased (Riesling & Semillon) were not as fresh and crisp as we had hoped. They were both older vintages so perhaps they had seen their better days in the past. I had heard good things in the past so get the tasting and go from there.
