We have returned to this winery several times for the wine, the food and the view. The Ehrenfelser and Siegerrebbe wines are favourites. The Rotberger, a natural rose, is very good and is unique to this winery. We came at the start of the fall wine festival and found fruit flies in both the restaurant and tasting areas to be a problem. Gray Monk is starting a reno in the tasting room this year, so hopefully this will improve.

The food was great, very European. Ate there twice in a week. The view of the valley, lake and mountains is spectacular especially when you sit outside. We particularly liked the white wines.

All I can say is wow! The view is amazing, the food was great and all the wines we sampled were very good, in particular the 2003 Merlot. In fact, it might be the best Merlot I've tasted all year. I bought three bottles and plan to open one each summer for the next three years. I'm sure this very good wine will some day be great!
