Highlights This is the first time release of a 100% Petit Verdot by Blasted Church, one of the very few wineries producing this wine from a grape not extensively grown in the valley. Although it is a late ripening grape, sometimes as late as Cabernet Sauvignon, it was harvested in mid-October because it was on its third leaf, which is usually when vines will begin to bear fruit.
