Highlights This Merlot was aged 18 months in 100% new French oak and blended with 3% Malbec to help flesh out the ripe, red fruit flavours that abound in this wine. Look for black cherry aromas, a hint of coffee and smokiness, light peppery/roasted pepper flavours and gamy qualities. Good depth, with light to medium tannins. Good concentrated finish.
