Have you ever wondered what “cold pressed” olive oil is? What exactly is extra virgin olive oil and is it healthy for you? Now is the time to find out! They are also pleased to welcome Peter Rotzetter of Chocoliro (www.chocoliro.com ) who will be sampling some of the finest Swiss chocolate found in the Okanagan Valley. Learn about the fine art of making truffles and gain an understanding of the importance of the percentage of cocoa content when using chocolate for baking. This afternoon grazing event is not to be missed. Participants will enjoy the small plates prepared by Chef Willi Franz and the Grapevine Restaurant Culinary Team. You will see the how these special products are used in everyday recipes that are sure to make home entertaining unique and fun. Naturally, the highly acclaimed wines from Gray Monk Estate Winery have been selectively chosen to compliment each dish and sampling station.
