Kettle Valley Winery Rock Oven Red

This wine is a blend of approximately 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Shiraz. The Cabernet comes from the King Drive vineyard, the Shiraz from the Beichman vineyard and the Old Main vineyard, all located in Naramata. The grapes were hand picked between October 24 and November 7, 2006 and harvested at approximately 24.9 brix. This wine has gone through a full malolactic fermentation and was aged in French oak for twenty one months.
