Made from Merlot (44%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%), Malbec(18%), Cabernet Franc (5%) and Petit Verdot (3%), the Platinum Meritage was cane-pruned and cropped to under 4 tons per acre. Hand-harvested predominantly from their Desert Ridge Vineyard in Osoyoos, they aged the 2007 vintage 20 months in 100% French oak. Without these details, the Meritage wouldn’t be Platinum. And the results show in every bottle.
