The grapes for this wine come primarily from KVW's Hayman vineyard in Naramata. This vineyard was one of the original plantings, having been planted in 1988. The grapes were hand picked on October 22, 2008 at approximately 25.2 brix. The wine has gone through a full malolactic fermentation and was aged in French oak for 22 months before being bottled. This is a limited bottling of a single vineyard Pinot Noir.
